The single and duplex water filters are compact multi functional systems which can be connected to any pumping system where filtration is required. The system is manufactured with 2" galvanized tubing and 2" maintenance free ball valves which makes it possible to shut off the water supply to the filter. The system is equipped with the FL-12000 water filter that can be installed with an inner and outer filter element. Standard filter systems are delivered with an outer filter element of 100,130, 300 or 435 micron. The water filter housing (FL-12000) is protected with an anti-corrosive powder coating. The transport frame is manufactured from stainless steel square tubing and has 2 handgrips for easy transportation.
* The difference between the single and duplex water filter systems is that the duplex water filter is equipped with 2 water filters (FL-12000) and 2 ball valves.
The filter housing is equipped with a so-called FLUSH system. This makes it possible to remove the dirt in the water filter without stopping the filtration unit. By opening the FLUSH valve the water flow on the outside of the filter element changes from a linear to a turbulent stream. This ensures that the dirt on the outside of the filter element and the bottom of the filter housing leaves the water filter through the flush opening. If any extra cleaning of the filter element is necessary this can be done by removing the element and brushing with a soft brush. Changing the filter elements can be achieved without any tools by just opening the top of the water filter housing.
The "single and duplex water filters" can be delivered with inner filter elements of the type FL-12001-xxx and/or outer filter elements of the type FL-12002-xxx. A manifold is available for other connections, such as a reducing valve for achieving lower pressures of the supply water.
